Rock On! observes the Latin contributions to American Music with the songs of Ritchie Valens and Santana.. Happy Days are Here Again takes Older Adults on a sentimental journey of song. This presentation will focus on the music of the 1920’s to the 1950’s. Jazz standards and Big Band selection made famous by Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Nat King Cole and other popular songs are presented. Happy Days Are Here Again features the humor and angst of the Blues. This presentation ends with the jubilant start of rock and roll with selections by Fats Domino, Ray Charles, Little Richard, The Platters, and The Coasters.
